I used to not have someone who inspired me, but to be fair, I haven't really looked for one either. I surfed the web as I usually do and stumbled upon a web series called RWBY. At first, I saw a gif of Ruby Rose (Red trailer) and got really interested and hoped it was a "thing". To my surprise, it was! With some reasearch, I found out that it was made by a man who worked for a comopany called Rooster Teeth. I looked at their videos and absolutely loved them, the content, Achievement Hunters, pretty much everything. Trying not to go on a tangent about my obsession with Rooster Teeth, RWBY was a completely new web series that was created by Monty Oum. Unfortunately, Monty Oum has passed, but he will forever be in our hearts. ("Keep moving forward" - Monty Oum) Monty Oum has inspired me to pick up my pencil and draw. Before I knew of him or his work, I thought that my drawings were really bad and that I should not bother trying again, but I saw Monty constantly working towards his dreams. Even though drawing is just my hobby, I wanted to continue doing what I love. So I kept drawing and liked how well it turned out and even started posting most of my drawings on Instagram. Monty is an extraordinary animator who also inspired many other people who are fans of RWBY and RvB (another web series he animated occasionally). When I started watching RvB, I remember being in complete surprise watching Season 8 because Monty's animation was there. Although I do not know Monty Oum personally or at all aside from his work and some of the videos he is in, he still influences many people who are fans of his great creations. RWBY, Haloid, and Dead Fantasy are all of his great animation work that I know of. I hope to see his legacy of RWBY go on so that he will be remembered as a great animator and superb artist with a wild imagination.
